We took Cooper to the great Minnesota get together and he LOVED it! There were lots of people to wave to and smile at
Too bad he’s too little for food on a stick. Mom and Dad got some cheese curds from the mouse trap and deep fried Snickers on a stick.
And of course we stopped in to see the chickens and sheep and the dairy princesses carved out of butter.
All in all a very good fair experience.

(is it just me or does the octopus seem a bit jealous of Cooper’s good looks?)

Cooper’s got a new trick, he can find his nose. For those of you who don’t know, this is VERY exciting. You say, “where’s Cooper’s nose?” and he sticks his finger up his nose. Then I say, “where’s mommy’s nose?” and he sticks his finger up my nose. Hours of fun!

We decided to get out of the burbs today and headed to uptown to walk around the lakes. It was a perfect day to enjoy the walk paths and to poke around the shops on Hennepin. Of course we stopped in at the Paper Source so that Cooper could get his fill of adoration. Then it was on to Bar Abilene for lunch. That’s where Cooper discovered that carrots don’t just come pureed. (more…)

Cooper and I joined Amanda and her sister Brenda today for a wonderful lunch and play-date. We took the kids to a park near her house and the boys were very brave and got on the merry-go-round and swings. (more…)

Thanks to the Austins for planning a picnic at Como park. Cooper got to catch up with our friend Kyle and show off his “walking”

Cooper spent the day with his friend Greg and together they managed to garden, farm and wear me out! And no, we didn’t plan to dress them alike it just happens sometimes when really cute little boys get together. What can I say, Amanda (Greg’s mom) and I have great taste.

Ha! They thought they’d found a way out by tunneling through the garden. Little did they know I was onto their little plan from the beginning.
