Today Dad took me to swimming lessons. Mom couldn’t get in the pool ’cause yesterday she got her eyes lasered. (Dad and I got to watch) Mom can see great now but no chlorine for a while. Now that he’s mastered walking Cooper’s just a blur in his new big boy shoes

Today is a sad day for our family. Garrick’s grandma Hannah passed away this afternoon. Cooper and I got a chance to see her on Friday and she was alert and in good spirits. She even did a little of her famous chicken dance to keep Cooper entertained. In her 97 years she saw the world change from the horse and buggy days on the farm to a world that’s connected in the blink of an eye by sites like this one. We will all miss her very much. We love you Grandma Hannah.
