We spent the Sunday morning after Thanksgiving tree hunting at a farm north of Wausau. We got our favorite kind (a concolor fir) they smell like grapefruit it’s amazing. Cooper spotted the perfect one right away and Garrick cut it down and dragged it back to the barn for us.
Cooper got his tree (OK branch) all by himself. One handed even! He did need Papa’s help to get it back to the car though.

Somewhere along the way Cooper has discovered his pockets. I’m not sure why but it makes me laugh every time. He’s just so super cool and little man looking!
Cooper got to celebrate his birthday for a whole week! It started Sun. with Gma and Gpa Piller, continued on his birthday (Wed) with Ellie and Oliver at Java Train, and we capped off the week with a visit from Grandma Carolyn and Grandpa Bob. Whew! Grandma and Grandpa Bob gave Cooper a book full of books (trucks of course) and a bucket of blocks that he tore into so fast he was just a blur. Thanks everybody for helping us celebrate! (more…)
